1 - I downloaded the latest firmware recovery tool from Espon - https://epson.com/Back up/Printers/All-In-Ones/WorkForce-Series/Epson-WorkForce-WF-2860/s/SPT_C11CG2... Equally of this writing, it was " Recovery Style Firmware Version LQ26J8"

2 - I started the program and began to override the firmware. Technically, I was overriding it with the aforementioned version. (Simply thats not the signal!)

8 - Once the firmware is uploaded to the printer, it takes a Full ten MINUTES for the printer to have the new firmware. Be patient! It will just sit there and glimmer for a while. The printer should eventually close itself off.

nine - Press the Power push button to kickoff up the printer once again and VIOLA! Your cloned cartridges are accepted over again with the older firmware!

NOTE: I literally figured this out a few minutes ago just from messing around. I accept no responsibility if you brick your printer.

I don't know how to exercise this with whatever other firmware because this was the only older version I could notice.

REMEMBER TO NEVER UPGRADE YOUR FIRMWARE AGAIN! Ignore whatsoever letters that might show up on the screen to update the firmware. You lot'll end upward where you started!

I Love Seiko, but F*&1000 Epson for doing this!
